NINGBO APIYOO HOLDINGS CO., LTD has taken a significant step in strengthening its brand protection strategy in Southeast Asia. On 10 June 2026, the Company successfully filed four new trademark applications for “APIYOO” with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP) of Indonesia. The classes they focused on are class 3, 8, 11 and 21.

Next Steps in the Indonesian Trademark Process

According to the Company’s registered IP consultant in Indonesia, the applications will now go through the following stages:

  1. Administrative Examination – 1 month DGIP checks completeness of documents.
  2. Publication Stage – 1 month for third-party opposition.
  3. Substantive Examination – 2 months for similarity check by a trademark examiner.
  4. Certificate Issuance – Registration certificate will be issued if there is no refusal.

“Based on our experience, the whole registration period is approximately 4 months, however that is if there are no queues or backlogs. In the case that there are queues, the process can take up to 8 months” said Ms. Ilda.

Why This Matters for APIYOO

Filing trademark applications in Indonesia – one of the largest and fastest-growing economies in ASEAN – protects APIYOO’s brand across personal care, household tools, electric appliances, and tableware. This proactive IP strategy helps prevent counterfeiting, strengthens distribution partnerships, and supports future market expansion.

Official Filing Evidence

The Company has received official filing receipts from DGIP. All application forms are attached to the filing report.
